Terms & Conditions

Website and service terms for WindowTints.ca.

These Terms and Conditions outline how visitors and customers may use this website, request quotes, book services, and interact with WindowTints.ca for residential, commercial, security, decorative, automotive, and paint protection film services.

Last updated: June 11, 2026 These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of WindowTints.ca and related quote, scheduling, and service communications.

Plain-English note: These Terms & Conditions explain how WindowTints.ca provides information, quotes, scheduling, and window film services. By using this website or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WindowTints.ca, requesting a quote, submitting a form, booking a service, or communicating with us about a service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website or submit a quote request.

2. Services and Quotes

WindowTints.ca provides information and quote support for window tinting and film-related services, including residential window tints, commercial window tints, security window film, decorative and privacy film, paint protection film, and automotive window tinting.

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer, including photos, approximate measurements, location, service type, glass condition, vehicle details, and the requested result. A quote may change if the provided information is incomplete, inaccurate, or different from what is observed before or during the service.

Submitting a quote request does not guarantee service availability, final pricing, a booking time, or acceptance of the project.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when requesting a quote or booking a service.

  • Provide clear photos of the glass, vehicle, or area requiring service.
  • Share the correct address, city, property type, and preferred contact details.
  • Identify any known glass damage, seal failure, cracks, scratches, previous film, coatings, or unusual conditions.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the service area at the scheduled time.
  • Move fragile items, furniture, displays, valuables, or obstructions away from the work area when requested.
  • For vehicle services, provide accurate year, make, model, window count, and any relevant vehicle condition details.

If access is not available, information is inaccurate, or the work area is not reasonably prepared, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or requoted.

4. Payments, Deposits, and Scheduling

Pricing, payment terms, deposits, and scheduling details may vary depending on the service, project size, location, materials, and availability.

If a deposit is required, the deposit may be used to reserve materials, confirm the appointment, or secure the scheduled service time. Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits may be non-refundable once materials are ordered, custom work is prepared, or a service appointment is reserved.

Customers should provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. Missed appointments, late cancellations, unavailable access, or last-minute changes may result in fees, deposit loss, or revised scheduling.

5. Film Results, Appearance, and Limitations

Window film results depend on the film type, glass type, existing glass condition, lighting, angle, exposure, installation environment, and the customer’s selected goals.

Film can help improve comfort, glare control, privacy, UV protection, security, decorative appearance, vehicle comfort, or paint protection, depending on the product and service. However, no film can guarantee complete heat elimination, complete privacy in all lighting conditions, unbreakable glass, total fade prevention, or complete protection against all impacts, chips, scratches, or damage.

Drying and curing

After installation, window film may show temporary haze, moisture, small water pockets, or a slightly cloudy appearance during the drying and curing period. Cure times vary depending on the film, glass, weather, temperature, humidity, and sun exposure.

Existing glass or surface conditions

Pre-existing scratches, chips, cracks, seal issues, contamination, old adhesive, damaged trim, worn paint, or imperfect glass may affect the final appearance or service result. These conditions are not caused by the new film installation.

6. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this website to submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website functionality, copy content for commercial misuse, or engage in activity that could harm the website, business, or other users.

All website content, including text, page layouts, visuals, branding, service descriptions, and design elements, is provided for general informational purposes and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WindowTints.ca is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, quote requests, scheduling, service delays, product expectations, or service outcomes.

WindowTints.ca is not responsible for damage or issues caused by inaccurate customer information, unsafe access, pre-existing surface conditions, third-party work, improper care after installation, misuse, accidents, weather, building conditions, vehicle condition, or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
